Haveyou ever painted your fingernails and think, “They look okay, but I wish they tasted like chicken? “
If so, you have issues, but you also might have a solution with KFC’s new “Finger Lickin’ Good” nail polish.
For some reason, this now exists at least in Hong Kong.
According to Ad Week, Ogilvy& Mather worked with food technologists at McCormick, the spice company that offer KFC’s secret mixture of 11 secret herbs and spices, to create the fingernail polishes for KFC Hong Kong.
The polishes were created in Original and Hot& Spicy flavors use only natural ingredients, because only the best for those looking to ingest their fingernail polish.
In a statement, the brand said that “consumers simply apply and dry like regular fingernail burnish, and then lickagain and again and again.”
“The recipe for our edible nail burnish is unique and was specifically designed to hold the flavor, but to also dry with a glossy coat similar to normal nail burnish, ” said Ogilvy creative director John Koay.
But before you go getting all excited about sticking a straw in your polish, be warned that only one flavor will be sold and chosen by a vote on their.
Once they get replies, they’ll go into production later this year and people in Hong Kong willall take to biting their freshly painted chicken thumbs and petitioning for mashed potato perfume.
